Team Viewer
We use team viewer for all of our remote support sessions. Team viewer is a highly secure platform which allows us to take control of your pc or laptop and offer the support you need.
Encryption
We have invested in TeamViewer Software as it includes full encryption, based on RSA private-/public key exchange and AES (256 Bit) session encoding. This technology is based on the same standards as https/SSL and is considered completely safe by today’s standards.
Access Protection
TeamViewer generates a session password that changes with every software start to provide additional security against unauthorized access to a remote system. Security relevant functions like file transfer require additional, manual confirmation of the remote partner. Also, it is not possible to invisibly control a computer.
Code Signature
All program files are secured using VeriSign code signing technology. This allows you to verify the origin of the executables you received.
Two Factor Authentication
Two factor authentication adds an additional security layer to protect TeamViewer accounts from unauthorised access. With two factor authentication, as well as a username and password, a code generated on a mobile device is needed to sign in to a TeamViewer account.

Using Team Viewer
Once you have downloaded the executable file you will be prompted to install it on your computer. If you are asked for permission to do so, please click YES or CONTINUE to do so. You may be prompted for your Administrator password to install software. When you have successfully installed it, you will see a window like that on the left of this screen.
Please provide your Deepdale Customer Service Advisor with the unique ID and Password shown on the terminal window. Please do not give this ID or Passcode to anyone other than a Deepdale Employee.
Once we are connected, please don’t move your mouse or use your keyboard unless we ask you to.
Please note that there is normally a charge for this service and we will need your credit or debit card details before work commences. Our technician will inform you of the current rates, and you will not be charged until the remote assistance is terminated.
